Frequently asked questions

You may have some questions about our grief education and coaching.

No. We work to support grief and loss of all kinds – in our group programmes we work with specific groups of people who have experienced similarities in their loss circumstance. Your grief or loss may have happened recently or many years ago.

Your experience of grief and loss is completely unique to you. If you have just experienced a loss or bereavement you might wonder if it is too soon to work with a grief coach. Our work with you is to be with you in your pain and help you find tools that support you. We don’t think it is ever too soon to start understanding your pain and grief. In the early days of bereavement you may also be experiencing shock. When we are in shock it can be very difficult to explore new learning, you may feel more drawn to having personalised one-to-one sessions rather than the 12 session programme.

Please contact us to explore this in more detail.

We interpret rituals as practices or a series of activities that you design to suit your own requests and needs. Rituals can also be passed through culture, family or community as ways of setting shared intentions. The word ritual may have ‘hippy’ or ‘woo-woo’ connotations but actually they are just practices that we repeat to create change.

Our short courses or some one-to-one coaching are probably the best place to start if you are here to help support somebody else. Our 12 session programmes are designed for people who are dealing with their own loss and grief.

We support loss and the associated grief of it. This is sometimes because somebody has died but can also be because you have lost a part of yourself (such as a sense of identity, or safety).

We also support people who have experienced loss after divorce, change, job loss, empty-nest and fertility loss (to name a few). These profound losses deserve to be acknowledged, witnessed, and supported.

We believe it is important to understand how much we charge for our grief courses and coaching.

We also never want money to be a barrier and would rather you get in touch if you would like to tell us what you can afford.

  • 12 session grief programme – £1500
  • Short courses – from £85 per person
  • 12 session group programme – £1200 per person
  • Personalised one-to-one coaching – £125 per session. £85 per session for clients who have completed one of our 12 session programmes.

If you are joining one of our 12 session programmes we will work with you over 12-14 consecutive weeks. Or longer if you choose with your individual 12 session programme to do biweekly sessions.

If you are having one-to-one personalised coaching with us we will talk to you on your initial relationship call about how many sessions work to meet your needs.

After our programme or once you have had coaching from us you can book an additional one-to-one check in at any time to get ongoing support.

Our 12 session programme is delivered as 8 sessions in a group and 4 sessions 1:1.

We will of course share the session material with you and any session work to do in between sessions. However, the group sessions are not available to watch back as they are not recorded due to confidential information.

If you have to miss one session you can pay to have an additional catch up one-to-one with your coach which will cover the missed content.
